Car Detailing for Silver Star Drivers
About 30 minutes down the hill to our shop in Vernon. For the vehicles that climb Silver Star Road all winter.
What Silver Star Road Does Over a Winter
Silver Star Road gets sanded, salted and brined for months to keep traffic moving up to the village. That mix sticks to lower panels, wheel wells and brake parts and keeps working on the metal long after the snow is gone. Ski racks, wet boots and salty floor mats do the same to the inside.
- Salt and sand off the underside, wheel wells and rocker panels with an exterior detail
- Salt stains out of carpets and mats with an interior detail and shampoo
- A ceramic coating so brine and slush rinse off between trips
- Paint protection film for sand chips on the front end
Best Times to Book
Before the season, to put protection on clean paint. After the season, to get the winter's salt off before it does damage. Cabin and vacation-home owners often book a full detail at the end of a visit. All prices are on the pricing page.

Questions and answers
Silver Star Questions
1.Is ceramic coating worth it if I drive in winter?
It is one of the best reasons to coat. Brine and slush bead off the coating instead of drying onto the paint, and washes take minutes.
2.Should I wash my car in winter?
Yes, on milder days. Getting salt off the lower panels and underside every few weeks slows rust. Our winter washing FAQ explains how to do it safely.
