Where Swirls Come From
Swirl marks are fine scratches in the clear coat, and they show up as spider webs around every light on a sunny day. Most come from automatic brush washes, dirty wash mitts, drying with a bath towel, and wiping dust off a dry car. Dark paint shows them the most.
Paint correction removes a tiny, controlled layer of clear coat until the scratches are gone, so the surface is flat and reflects light cleanly again.

Single-Stage or Multi-Stage
Single-stage is one polishing pass. It removes light swirls and brings back gloss, and it is the right prep for most ceramic coatings. Multi-stage adds a cutting step with a more aggressive compound first, then refines with a polish. It takes out deeper swirls, scratches and oxidation.
For paint with deep defects we also offer wet sanding and paint leveling for a show-car finish, quoted after a look.
Protect It After
Corrected paint is bare paint. Lock it in with a ceramic coating so it stays that way, and add paint protection film on the front if rock chips are a worry. Our Gold, Platinum and Lifetime coating packages already include multi-stage correction. Read more in our FAQ.

Paint Correction Questions
1.Will paint correction remove all my scratches?
It removes defects that sit in the clear coat. If a scratch catches your fingernail it may go through to the colour or primer. Polishing can soften it but not erase it, and we tell you which is which before we start.
2.Is paint correction safe for my paint?
Yes, when it is measured. We remove only as much clear coat as the defects need and keep the rest for future protection.
3.Do I need protection after correction?
You should. Without it, the next few washes start the swirls again. A ceramic coating is the easy way to keep it.
