Paint Protection Film (Clear Bra) in Vernon
Clear urethane film on the parts of your vehicle that take the hits. It soaks up rock chips and road rash, heals light swirls in the sun, and you can barely see it's there.

Why Vernon Drivers Need PPF
Highway 97 between Vernon and the south Okanagan is chip country. Gravel trucks, construction zones and winter sand all end up on your hood. Add the forestry and gravel roads out toward Lumby, Cherryville and the Monashees, and a new bumper can look ten years old in one season.
Paint protection film, often called clear bra, is the only thing that physically stops that damage. It is a thick, clear, flexible film that takes the impact so your paint does not. A ceramic coating cannot do this, and neither can wax.

- Absorbs rock chips, gravel and road rash
- Self-healing top layer: light swirls level out in the sun
- Optically clear, so the original paint shows through
- Protects resale value on new and leased vehicles
- Can be ceramic coated for gloss and easy washing
Coverage Options
We quote film by coverage, because a small car and a full-size truck use very different amounts of material. The common packages:
- Partial front: bumper, mirrors, headlights and the front edge of the hood and fenders. The most popular choice for daily drivers.
- Full front: the whole bumper, full hood, full fenders, mirrors and headlights. No line across the hood.
- Track pack: full front plus rocker panels and the area behind the rear wheels, where tires throw debris.
- Full vehicle: every painted panel, for exotic, collector and long-term vehicles.
Film and Coating Together
The strongest setup is film on the front for chips and a ceramic coating over the rest for gloss and easy washing. Paint under the film should be clean and corrected first, so we often pair it with paint correction. Still deciding? Read ceramic coating or PPF.
Questions and answers
Paint Protection Film Questions
1.How much does PPF cost?
It depends on the vehicle and the coverage. A partial front on a car costs far less than a full front on a full-size truck. Send us the year, make and model and the coverage you want and we quote it.
2.Will the film turn yellow?
Modern urethane films are made with UV inhibitors and resist yellowing for years. Older, cheaper films are the ones that went yellow.
3.Can you see the film?
Up close you may see the edges. From a few steps back it disappears, which is the point.
4.How long does the install take?
A partial front is usually one day. Full front and full vehicle installs take longer, and we give you a pickup time when you book.
